Do you want to help make our community healthier, happier and more connected? We’d love to hear from you.
There are lots of ways to get involved — from volunteering at local events, sharing your skills, or joining our Board.
W12Together are one of 150 areas in England to be given £1m of lottery funding to spend over 10 years on resident-led projects.
Whether you have specific skills or just a can-do attitude and passion for the community, there’s a place for you. Most roles do not require previous experience.
Ways to Get Involved
Volunteer
Volunteers support our work by giving their time and skills to a range of activities. This could include:
Helping at community events
Supporting ongoing projects or outreach
Assisting with administration or logistics
Location: Across the White City & Wormholt area
Time commitment: One-off events or regular involvement

Join Our Board of Trustees
We are currently recruiting new trustees, including Legal and HR roles.
Location: White City (hybrid or remote options available)
Time commitment: Approx. 4–6 hours per month
Type: Voluntary (reasonable expenses reimbursed)

Available Board Roles
Legal Trustee
As our Legal Trustee, you will help guide our work and make sure W12Together stands on a sound legal footing. You’ll work closely with the board and project team, using your legal expertise to support our mission and make a real difference in our community.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and guidance to the organisation.
• Support with governance, contracts and compliance.
• Help manage risk and ensure we meet our legal obligations.
• Work closely with the board and project team.
Skills & Qualities
• Qualified legal professional (e.g. solicitor, barrister or equivalent experience).
• Experience in charity, community or non-profit settings (desirable).
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• A passion for helping the community.
HR Trustee
As our HR Trustee, you will help us build a positive, inclusive and supportive workplace for our staff and volunteers. You’ll work closely with the leadership team and board to make sure our people practices are fair, effective and legally sound.
Key Responsibilities
• Support with recruitment, onboarding and retention.
• Advise on HR policies, procedures and best practice.
• Help manage employee relations and wellbeing.
• Ensure we meet our legal and statutory obligations.
• Work closely with the leadership team and board.
Skills & Qualities
• HR qualification or relevant experience.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• A commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• A passion for helping the local community.
