Our story

Every Christmas Day, W12Together hosts a free Christmas dinner for young people aged 18–25 with care experience who might otherwise spend the day alone. We welcomed over 35 young people in 2024 and over 40 in 2025. This year we aim to welcome 50+.

Inspired and supported by The Christmas Dinners initiative, this community-led event brings together local people, volunteers and organisations to create a truly special day filled with kindness, good food and festive cheer.

What to Expect

Guests will enjoy:

• A delicious traditional Christmas dinner at 1EdCity

• A Christmas hamper and gift for every guest to take home

• Games, sport and gaming at WEST Youth Zone, or board games and a quiet space at 1EdCity

• A warm, friendly welcome from around 20 local volunteers

• Taxis home for those who need them

Our aim is to make sure every guest leaves feeling valued, connected and part of the community.

Referrals

We work with local organisations, charities and social services to reach young people who would benefit from joining us. If you support a care-experienced young person who would enjoy being part of this year’s Christmas Dinner, please complete our short referral form below.

Join our steering group

Help plan this year's White City Christmas Dinner for care-experienced young people aged 18–25 who might otherwise spend the day alone.

Choose from eight teams: Guests, Hosts & Helpers, Fundraising, Presents, Communications, Venue & Design, Food and Transport. We meet 8–10 times from October to December, with a debrief in January. Anyone can join and no experience is needed.
