What The Tech?!

Free, friendly help with the NHS App, PATCHS and everyday tech for local residents aged 50+.

Every Wednesday, 2–4pm, 4–25 November 2026 at Parkview Centre for Health and Wellbeing, W12 7FG.

About What The Tech?!

What The Tech?! is a free tech support workshop for local residents aged 50+ in Hammersmith & Fulham and Kensington & Chelsea. We want our community to be as digitally inclusive as possible, so our sessions build digital confidence and help everybody feel connected.

Our friendly student volunteers are trained to give basic tech advice and demonstrations. This year we're focusing on the NHS App and PATCHS, so you can manage your health online without waiting on the phone. Bring along your phone, tablet or laptop and come for a helpful chat and a cup of tea.

What we can help with

With the NHS App and PATCHS, our volunteers can help you:

  • Order repeat prescriptions

  • Book GP appointments

  • View your GP health record

  • Contact your GP practice online

  • Get to grips with everyday tech on your phone, tablet or laptop

Features vary depending on your GP practice. Coffee and cake are provided at every session!
